This piercing is placed horizontally through the head of the penis and may or may not intercept the urethra, depending on the positioning chosen. The piercing is said to greatly enhance sex for both partners. As it is a long piercing, it can take six months or more to fully heal, although ampallangs placed through the urethra tend to heal more rapidly.
